California Apostille Mexico

Most of our California Apostille service is for Mexico.  The most common type of document which requires an Apostille for Mexico is Power of Attorney and Affidavit.

A Power of Attorney for Mexico is usually written in English and in Spanish.  English on one side of the document and Spanish on the other side separated by a center divider.  Most Power of Attorney document are generally related to property and drafted by an Attorney in Mexico. 

It's important to note that the secretary of state will attach the California Apostille to the page signed by the notary which includes the California Acknowledgment.  From experience, it's very important to have the signature of the person signing the Power of Attorney, the California Acknowledgment language, the notaries seal and signature all on the same page.

The reason for this is because you want the California Secretary of State to attach the California Apostille to the page where everyone's signature including the notaries seal on one page.  If the notary attaches a California Acknowledgement, then the Secretary of State will attach the Apostille to that page and that's what we don't want to happen.

California Apostille Certification

If you need a California Apostille Certification for your document, the country of destination determines whether the authentication of the document is an Apostille or a Certification.

Notary Loan Signing in Los Angeles

Yesterday evening I performed a notary loan signing in Los Angeles for a couple in the Hollywood Hills area.  Because most of my business primarily relates to notary service for attorney's, financial planners, and the general public, I rarely do get calls from title companies requesting my services.

Best Notary in Los Angeles

It's usually the case that only a professional Los Angeles notary can spot a notary who is less experience in the art of proper notarizations.  Simple notary mistakes I notice are usually at the California Secretary of State office in Los Angeles when I'm waiting in line to get a California Apostille for my clients.

A few noticeable mistakes a notary makes are...
1. Not stamping the document with the seal.
2. Not using the correct acknowlegement form.
3. Not writing "Notary Public" after the notaries name.
4. Missing date or signature of the notary.
5. Not attaching the acknowlegement or jurat to the signed page.
